The Pee Pointer

This is my second project from Simone Giertz’s class on Studio. For this build I was chalenged to solve a functional everyday annoyance. The bathroom lights in my apartment are quire frankly awful, everytime they come on, they flicker and they are super bright. I’m not allowed to swap them out, so instead I built a motion activated laser guide/night light to illuminate my toilet at night time and housed it all inside a miniature toilet for fun.

Also I know this is way overkill from an electronics perspective but I had the Arduino laying around and it was much easier to just use that to quickly prototype. I’m thinking about going back for a V2 and doing things “properly” haha, but for now it’s a quick and functional fix.
